We have lived our lives with Jesus alongside poor communities in Wellington and Tauranga for the past 10 years. Responding to Jesus’ words in Matthew 25, we live intentionally with our neighbours, sharing their highs and their lows.
Celebrating the promise of fellowship in Acts 2, we have opened home and hearts to many young adults and families over years who are searching for what it means to actively live out faith every day.
We now have an opportunity for three people to come and walk with us in Merivale by living in the house next door. We are offering to be guides in your challenging exploration of what it means to live out your faith within a community of the poor.
So if you want to live in a community in needs, live with others who want to serve the ocmmunity in everyday life and be mentored by people that have done it for year contact

Its a day doing something nice for other people and neighbourhoods, no strings attached, not hidden motives- just helping where we are needed

• When: July 10th 10am- 2pm
• Where to meet: Merivale community centre
• What will we be doing: Painting Murals, cleaning, Firewood, putting on a BBQ for the community
• What to bring: $5 (for lunch and to pay for the free BBQ we will put on) and suitable clothing

Mosaic has the privilege in helping get Tauranga’s first large scale Community Garden off the ground. We have been working in partnership with many other community groups, individuals and enthusiasts to see a community Garden built in the Otumoetai Railway Reserve where the Council has donated us over 3000m2 of land.

The funds are raised, the space is prepared, spring is on its ways and its time to build Tauranga’s first large scale community garden in Otumoetai. Many of you have donated, 2 organisations have given grants and we are ready to literally get our hands dirty and build this garden. On Saturday September 4th We will be partnering with locals in Otumoetai to build 60 7m2 raised Garden plots. We need builders, gardeners, people who can use wheelbarrows, cooks, kids, and anyone who is keen to help out. I would love to see 100 Mosaicans come volunteers and knock this out in one day.
