Grant & Deby have lived in the BOP area for over 25 years and seen the Bay change from a series of coastal villages into the sixth largest city in New Zealand with all the challenges that go with that kind of growth. They have two children who are grown now, Bek (daughter) is married to our Greg. And Nathan is happily married to Ingrid, who recently added to the family a wonderful granddaughter named Isobella.
Grant & Deby serve in dual roles.
As senior Pastors and founders they have overseen the life of Mt Mosaic since its inception. Deby loves to serve the She community and is passionate about creativity and people.
Deby says:
“When we celebrate and travel a journey together, we build deepening friendships, understanding, and a real sense of belonging – it invites us to allow others to share the journey with us. Mosaic values family and that is the atmosphere we try to create. That’s what church should be – ’family’, a place of belonging.”
Grant is most often associated with the “guy up the front speaking” but Grant also serves as a coach to our church plants both here and in Australia. He is passionate about leadership, reaching people for Jesus and fishing.
